$4000 raised for white rhino protection

A white rhino had its horn trimmed to deter poachers by the amazing team at Pilanesberg National Park involving a chopper pilot, veterinary and the conservation ground team last week.
Paid for by our safari guests from The KUZO Group and Rae Safaris, channeled through Worth Wild Africa, this is the eighth trimming WWA has supported at $4000+ a time!
In the photos above WWA founder Professor Peter Neville is holding approx US $3,500,000 of horn regrowth in the appalling illegal trade market in the far east. Dehorning is a pretty cheap protection by comparison. And it works!
Update 20 January 2026: Another three rhinos had their horns trimmed today to keep them safe from poachers. Thanks to our donors who make a tangible difference by supporting this ongoing project.
